Cell Phone Help Please!!!?

I need some help finding some info about phones. My brother is interested in finding the "Neo" I'm not sure what it is or what website would sell it? Also I am in love with The T-mobile LX sidekick and i know they only sell them at T-mobile but i live in Canada so this is a problem. But i heard some rumours about Three new phone companys coming to Canada in the upcoming year. Is t-mobile one of them? If not if i buy the phone from the states can i just set it up with a plan here?
