Why metal (conductor) are unable to produce continuity to light led in test pen compared to our finger.?

If you have a complete closed circuit you can't help but have continuity. There is something wrong somewhere; broken wire, bad solder joint, open switch, short, current going to ground, something. Maybe the conductor has very high resistance. This happens in tiny wires. Hope you find the problem.
