Do you guys think this is a good homemade bait for catfishing?

It should work. Catfish will eat just about anything. You might try Hot dogs sprayed with WD 40 (before you put it on the hook). Try corn or squished up of bread. I just use worms or chicken livers. I would use some Catawba worms if I could find some.
